Before you buy
Is the guide up to date?
Every price, timetable, entry rule and procedure was checked against primary sources in August 2026. Next to every fact that can change you will find the exact address where to re-check it before leaving.
Do I need a visa for China?
The book carries the current rules for Italian citizens, passport requirements, the arrival card and the compulsory registration within 24 hours of arrival. It is the first chapter, and the one with the most visible verification date: entry rules get updated on a few weeks’ notice.
Do the online tools cost extra?
No. The itinerary generator and the map of 101 places are included in the price of the book, ask for no sign-up or email address, and you can try them from this site right now.
Is it fine if I have never been to Asia?
It is written exactly for that. Nothing is assumed: how to set up a digital payment, how to read a menu, what to do when a hotel refuses your passport. Twelve concrete situations come with the answer already written.
Paperback or ebook?
The paperback is faster to consult and the maps read better. The ebook weighs nothing in a suitcase and has clickable links. The phrasebook cards can be shown from a screen either way.
What languages is it in?
